B-12 is one of the essential vitamins that humans need. And, as it so happens, it’s the only one that naturally occurs only in animal based products. But, don’t worry, there are ways to add it to your diet. For one, there are supplements available. Most are sublingual drops that you put under your tongue. There’s also nutritional yeast that can be sprinkled on food. It can also be added to blended cashews to make a truly divine cheese sauce. Perhaps some day I’ll share my recipe with you.
If you’re not getting enough B-12, you may be fine now. You may even be fine next year, but B-12 is no joke. Complete lack of this vitamin in your diet will lead to some pretty horrendous side effects. So, where do YOU get your B-12?
